Engagement & Portrait Sessions
Engagement
sessions included in any wedding collection cannot be exchanged for any
product, service or refunded at any time. If a session is not redeemed at least
one month prior to wedding date it is forfeited. Sessions are taken on location
and thus subject to the discretion of the studio; reasons may include:
scheduling conflicts, inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances. The
studio is willing to travel anywhere it deems appropriate for a session;
however, anything further than a 30 mile radius of Evansville, IN is subject to
.50/per mile traveling fee. We enjoy photographing children of the bride &
groom and/or family pets during a session, but prior notice of at least 24
hours is required. Sessions are limited to one general location. A session does
not include any digital images in the cost of the session; this also applies to
digital images requested for use on an announcement, save-the-date or any other
personal item(s). All digital images are sold separately at regular studio
price.
Wedding Day
While we do our
best to help plan the course of your day, we are not solely responsible for the
execution of an overall time line. We are not responsible to move, direct or
assist any videographer or family member(s) with a camera on the wedding day
and are not responsible to edit or remove these individuals from JDP
photographs.
Online Photo Galleries and Orders
Wedding, portrait and engagement session photographs will be
viewable in an online gallery within 8 weeks of your wedding and/or session date.
We attempt to archive your
photos as long as possible but storage is only guaranteed up to 12 months
following the date of your photo gallery posting(s). All photo galleries expire
from online viewing within 3 months from their posting date. It is not in our
practice to re-activate any expired galleries and a $25 processing fee will be
charged for all re-activated galleries. If you do not wish to pay the online
re-activation fee to place your order you may make an appointment with the
studio. All methods of image delivery (i.e. CD, DVD, USB flash drive or online
delivery) are only guaranteed for replacement if defective up to 12 months
following the date of your photo gallery posting(s). All studio credits expire along with their respective galleries.
All print and digital media orders made online or at the studio will be ready
for pick-up or mailed out within 14 business days from the order date. All
product orders including albums, (excl. wedding albums) canvases and framed
prints made online or in the studio will be ready for pick-up within 8 weeks
from the order date.
Pricing & Promotions
All JDP
pricing is subject to change without notice. All future wedding collections and
included items are subject to change. All products are subject to appropriate state
taxes. All incentives will be redeemed and produced after the expiration of the
wedding gallery.
Prints, Products and Studio Credits
All items
including prints, products, and studio credits that are included in a collection
must be redeemed within the lifetime of the online photo gallery. The studio
will mail all image discs to the client(s) following a gallery posting. All
prints, products or studio credits included in a collection are to be selected at
the studio at the time of a wedding album consultation. If a client(s) lives
outside of the Evansville, IN area and is unable to meet at the studio, selection
and delivery arrangements will need to be made between the client(s) and the
studio for these items within the lifetime of the photo gallery. Delivery fees
may apply. If your collection includes a guest book final approval from the
client(s) must be made within 8 weeks of their wedding date to allow full
production time for this product. Additionally, if you would like to purchase a
guest book, please keep this time line in mind as late orders may not be able
to be made in time for your wedding day.
All reprints of any JDP studio product (including image discs, prints,
products, albums, etc.) will be priced according to current studio pricing.
Image discs include all of the high resolution images that were posted in an
online gallery. When high resolution images are purchased, a copyright release
form is included. This copyright release is a shared copyright between the
client(s) and the studio and does not extend to friends, family or other third
parties. The copyright release allows the client(s) (and client(s) only) to
reprint photographs; however, the studio is not responsible for the overall
quality of these prints.
Wedding Albums
If a client would
like to be involved in the photo selection and design process of a wedding
album, this must take place no later than 3 months after the online wedding
gallery posting or the client forfeits his/her right to be involved and the
studio may complete the design. Re-orders on albums may be made up to 12 months
following the posting of an online wedding gallery. It may take up to 8 weeks
to receive an initial wedding album proof from the studio. Production time is
up to 8 weeks after client has approved final album proof. After a wedding
album has been approved via email or verbally by the client no changes or
re-prints may be made once the book has gone into production. Album delivery is
done by signature confirmation if the client lives outside of the Evansville,
IN area. If the client lives in the Evansville, IN area the album must be
picked up at our studio.
Fees
Deposits are 25%
down and due at the time of the contract signing to reserve a wedding date. All
deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. All balances for wedding
photography collections and services must be paid in full within 3 months prior
to a wedding date. Orders for all JDP products offered must be paid for in full
at the time the order is made. Bounced checks will incur a $75 fee. We accept
cash, check, debit, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards. Refer to wedding
contract for cancellation fee info. The studio’s standard delivery of payment
receipts and balance reminders is a pdf file format sent via email. A client
may opt to receive hard copies of receipts and balance reminders but must
notify the studio of this preference.
